Who We Are

We are three passionate engineers & friends who studied industrial product design and environmental engineering in Budapest. We've been running a small, local designer store for about a month when we met the girls and started to sell their bags in our shop. At the same time two of us have also been running our own project for several years designing and making clothing of organic cotton and having a future plan to make bags, too.
These facts brought the attention of Juli and Neza, the founders of Blind Chic. to our team as a possible option to pass their beloved brand to. We are more than motivated to bring in sustainable changes within fashion and design, and for sure to keep on with the locally made, handcrafted products. Just like Juli and Neza, we are also having meetings constantly to collaborate with different designers, visual artists, bike lovers or creators and with other labels.

The main focus is always on quality, comfort and functionality, meanwhile not making compromises against style.

Andras, CEO - design and production management

Born in Budapest, knowing Balint from their childhood, he finally graduated as an industrial product design engineer specialised in leather and textile goods. His focus was on bags & heavy textile gears ever since. After university he founded Touch Me Not Clothing with Dea in 2015, a brand focusing on local production and 100% transparent organic materials. He joined in to the operation of Prezent shop in Budapest, a small store selling local design products - that's where he also got to know the Blind Chic. brand.

He's the one focusing on technology, designing, pre-production and production of the bags, controlling quality and always bringing in new ideas while never giving up to test as many different materials and technologies as possible.

Dea - brand management and communication

Born in Budapest, studying economics and engineering, finally she also finished uni as an industrial product design engineer specialised in leather & textile goods. Collecting experiences as a tour guide for long years she found her way back to design and founded Touch Me Not Clothing with Andras in 2015, a brand focusing on local production and 100% transparent organic materials. Later in 2018 they joined in to the operation of Prezent shop in Budapest, a small store selling local design products - that's where she got to know the Blind Chic. brand.

She's responsible for all social media contents, offline pop-ups, any kind of visuals and she's the one dealing with offline and online contact issues, while taking part of the designing sessions, too.

Saci - maker and sewer

Having experience in printing, sewing and many more, Saci joined the crew in 2013 and ever since she is responsible for the amazing handcrafted quality of each bag. She is the “Mamma” of the team and the most energetic, caring and delightful lady, who overcomes any obstacle when a new model has to be constructed from scratch into a final product.

She truly cares about the quality of the cases and bags and is ready to learn any new technologies needed to finish the newer and newer designs.

We are very lucky to have her in our team and wish to work with her as long as possible! and online contact issues, while taking part of the designing sessions, too.

Balint - finances and logistics

Born in Budapest, going to the same school together with Andras as a kid, finally he ended up finishing university as an environmental engineer while working as a marketing manager for big hungarian company for a few years. After he decided to quit his nine-to-five job, he started to work together with Andras and Dea helping them out with documentation, logistics and accounts with the clothing brand. In 2018 he was the third member out of the four joining in to the reopening of Prezent shop in Budapest, where he got relevant experiences in managing a company and controlling all documentation and financial issues.

He's mostly responsible for proper and correct statistics, numbers, documentation and logistics in the brand while always keeping an eye of finances, too.

Ákos - pre-production, stocks & more

Raised in Szeged and finished his studies in Budapest, Akos got used to travelling a lot which later developed into a passion: he spent years abroad, partly as a student, partly as a volunteer. Lately he found a portuguese internship where he had the chance to look behind the scenes of a surfwear producer company and since than he’s more than into surfing: this became his main topic at his master’s thesis, too. He is a real nature lover person, both in his private, scout and professional life, committed to local textile industry and sustainable production.

In the workshop he is responsible for preproduction and tayloring, while also taking part in repairs, stocks and logistics.
